Acceptance of Terms

Users must agree to comply with the terms outlined herein, which may be updated periodically. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any changes. Dental Loop Pty Ltd may be referred to as “company” in this documentation.

Usage, Accounts, and Security
 

User Responsibilities: Users who create an account are responsible for providing accurate information and maintaining the security of their login credentials. The website reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for breaches of these terms. Activities such as copying content, reverse-engineering the website, or using it for illegal purposes are strictly prohibited. Dental Loop Pty Ltd may disclose user activity if required by law in Bangladesh or South Australia, based on the user’s location.

Intellectual Property Rights

Dental Loop Pty Ltd retains ownership of all content, logos, design, and trademarks associated with the website. Where work is conducted in collaboration with affiliate members, appropriate references are made in compliance with local copyright laws applicable in Bangladesh and South Australia. Users retain ownership of data that they generate through our services unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Privacy Policy

Dental Loop Pty Ltd respects user privacy and complies with all relevant data protection laws in Australia and Bangladesh. The Company collects, stores, and uses personal data, including but not limited to cookies, analytics, and account information, for website functionality and improvement purposes and according to Wix’s standard terms and conditions. Information collected includes user activity on the website, IP addresses, and account details submitted during registration. 
Personal data is used to enhance website performance, provide personalised services, and comply with legal obligations. 
The Company does not sell personal data to third parties but may share data with authorised service providers for operational purposes. 
The Company will aim to implement industry-standard security measures to safeguard user data.
Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data by contacting connect@dentalloop.au.

Dental Loop Pty Ltd assumes no liability for third-party content or services linked to the site. While the company takes measures to ensure no malicious links are embedded within the website, users should exercise caution and engage with external links at their own risk. If users find an unexpected or broken link, they should contact us via email at connect@dentalloop.au with their concerns.

Limitation of Liability

Dental Loop Pty Ltd limits its liability for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the website. Users agree not to hold the company liable for consequential damages or for the actions of third parties. Liability limitations are subject to local regulations in Bangladesh and South Australia.

Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold Dental Loop Pty Ltd and its affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, or legal costs arising from their use of the site. As a research-centric company, Dental Loop Pty Ltd makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information provided. Dental Loop Pty Ltd reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to the website or any of its services without notice for any reason, including violations of these terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the relevant laws of Australia for Australian users and by the relevant laws of Bangladesh for Bangladesh-based users. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the user's domicile, unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing.

Severability

Should any term or provision of these Terms and Conditions be found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a competent authority, such term or provision shall be deemed severed, and the validity, legality, and enforceability of the remaining terms and provisions shall not be affected. The Company reserves the right to amend such invalid provisions to comply with applicable laws while preserving the original intent of the terms to the greatest extent possible.

Amendments

Dental Loop Pty Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via the website or email at least seven (7) days prior to the amendments taking effect.
Amendments may include changes to policies, user obligations, or services offered by the Company.
Continued use of the website after the amendments take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
If users do not agree to the amended terms, they must discontinue use of the website immediately.

Dispute Resolution

Disputes related to non-business or non-financial matters, particularly those concerning research, development, digital education, or health promotion activities conducted by Dental Loop Pty Ltd that do not involve financial transactions as outlined in the signed schedule, should be addressed through the following resolution process. 
In the event of a dispute arising from or related to this Agreement, the Parties agree to resolve the matter as follows:

  1. Submit a formal complaint to the People and Culture department, which will attempt resolution within 7 business days.

  2. If unresolved, proceed to mediation within 30 business days, conducted by a mutually agreed mediator, to conclude within 60 days unless extended in writing.

Copyright Infringement

If a user believes content on the website infringes on their copyright, they should submit a formal takedown request via email to connect@dentalloop.au, providing the following information:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work: A description or link to the original work.

  2. Identification of the infringing material: A clear description or location (URL, screenshots, etc.) of the allegedly infringing content.

  3. Proof of ownership: Evidence that the user owns or has the rights to the copyrighted material.

  4. Statement of good faith: A declaration that the complaint is made in good faith.

 

Upon receiving a valid complaint, the company will review the request within 14 business days and, if necessary, remove the allegedly infringing content immediately. If a third-party content is identified as infringing Dental Loop’s ownership rights, they will be notified and given the opportunity to file a counter-notice if they believe the takedown is erroneous. The company will respond to counter notices within 14 business days. If mediation or arbitration fails, and the infringement affects the company's reputation or business, Dental Loop Pty Ltd reserves the right to pursue formal legal action.

Force Majeure

Dental Loop Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control (Force Majeure Events). Force Majeure Events include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, pandemics, governmental actions, wars, and disruptions in utilities or communication systems. The affected party must notify the other party in writing within seven (7) business days of the occurrence, detailing the impact and expected resolution timeline.
